Throughout his career, Aaron has handled cases ranging from the smallest single family homes to the largest commercial and industrial properties. He began his career at a private law firm, representing taxpayers across the country in their efforts to contest their real estate tax burden. Aaron is licensed to practice law in both Illinois and Florida.

Aaron went on to spend ten years in public service. He spent seven years as a member of the real estate tax unit of the Cook County State's Attorney's office, representing the interests of various Cook County offices in valuation appeals, tax deed cases, exemption issues, injunction matters, indemnity cases, as well as in Bankruptcy Court.

 

He then was appointed to the position of the First Assistant Commissioner at the Cook County Board of Review.  In that role he was responsible for the evaluation of a wide range of cases brought before the Board as well as the management of one of the three Commissioners' staffs.

After graduating from LaSalle Language Academy in the Old Town neighborhood, Aaron earned his high school diploma from St. Ignatius College Prep. He then obtained bachelor's degree from the University of Illinois. Aaron obtained his Juris Doctrate at DePaul University. He currently lives in the East Village neighborhood of Chicago with his wife and two children.
